He was predeceased by: his father Sandy Korenthal; and his mother-in-law Frances Kara. He is survived by: his wife Linda Kara Ruck; his son Joshua Ruck; his stepfather Jerry Ruck of Delray Beach, FL; his sister Rebecca Ruck of Jersey City; his father-in-law Frank Kara of Woodbridge; his siblings-in-law, Irene Karmazsin of Edison, Doreen Ploski of Las Vegas, NV and Frank Kara of Las Vegas, NV; and his nephews, Stephen Karmazsin (Shannon), Timothy Karmazsin (Jillian), Jason Ploski and Alexander Ploski.
