He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Shinka and Andrew Shinka. He is survived by: his wife Sonia Turk Shinka; his children, Christine Siburn of Port Reading and Andrew J. Shinka (Eva) of Granville, OH; his brother Robert Shinka of Bradenton, FL; and his grandchildren, Grant Shinka, Sophia Shinka and Jack Siburn.
