He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeanette Carey Burgess and Donald Browne; and his brother Sonny Burgess. He is survived by: his wife Brenda G. Brown (Cole); his son Ryan; and his siblings, George Sharpe of Connecticut, Linda Blair of Atlantic City, Renee Billups (Texas) of Connecticut and Tonya Burgess of Philadelphia. He is also survived by three grandsons, and a host of other relatives and friends.
