He was predeceased by: his parents, Nuzlie Nafash and Morris Nafash; his wife Arlene Mae Nafash; and his siblings, Roger Nafash and Lenore Nafash.
He is survived by: his children, Cheryl McLaughlan, Michael Nafash (Susan) and Mark Nafash (Tracy); his grandchildren, Jaimie McLaughlan (David Betancourt, Sr.) and Amanda Nafash; and his great grandchildren, Damien Furfaro, David Betancourt Jr., Daxton Betancourt, Ashton Betancourt and Audriana Betancourt.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Kimak Funeral Home (425 Broad St, Carlstadt, NJ 07072). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
