He was predeceased by: his father Amado Salinas. He is survived by: his mother Maria Victoria Orellano; his sons, Fidel Salinas, Marvin Pineda, Waldo and Kevin Salinas; and his stepdaughters, Sandra Grande and Karla Salinas. He is also survived by His three sisters and two brothers in El Salvador and nine grandchildren.
