She was predeceased by: her parents, Hans Sommer and Olive; her husband Thomas; and her siblings, Robert, Martin, Grace, Margaret, Violet and Jeannie.

She is survived by: her children, Beth Rios (Sam) and Scott Ketschke (Deanna); her grandchildren, Ricky, Nic, Sydney, Scott Thomas and Ryan; and her sister-in-law Sharon. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
