He was predeceased by: his father William Karl Applegate; and his nephew Robert. He is survived by: his wife Rita Applegate; his daughter Katrina Applegate; his mother Barbara Applegate of Sebastian, FL; his siblings, William Applegate (Sharon) of Phila, Susan Hill (Bob) of Sebastian, FL and Katherine Long (Andrew) of Tampa, FL.; his nieces and nephews, Jacklyn (Jonathan), Joshua (Amanda), Laura (Reed), Brian, Kelly and Cayla; and also Olga Applegate.
