She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Scoggin and Hester Scoggin. She is survived by: her husband Dougald L. McMillan, Jr.; her son Dougald McMillan III; her siblings, Lewis Scoggin and Catherine Ferrell; and her children, Jeff McMillan (Bridget Benton), Bruce McMillan (Nicole), Dawn McMillan and Christie McMillan Monroe. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
