He was predeceased by: his parents, Steven Kardos and Elizabeth Kardos (Marczi); his wife Margaret "Peggy" Kardos (Kish); his son Brian Kardos; and his brothers, Julius, Eugene and Louis Kardos.
He is survived by: his son Bret Kardos (Michelle); and his sisters, Matilda Cogan, Irene Anderson (Honey) and Lillian Kardos.
