It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Kenton Smyth of Willingboro, New Jersey, born in Jamaica, New York, who passed away on June 1, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Barbara A. Smyth; his children, Susan Smyth Hawkins (Robert), Denise Smyth Schafer (Andrew) and Peter N. Smyth (Holly); his grandchildren, Bryan Rodier, Chelsey Roman, Jillian Winfree, Lindsey Cowperthwait (Matthew), Robert Hawkins, Jr., Devon Winfree, Kyle Rodier (Alexandra), Matthew Shikitino, Michael Robert Smyth, Kendal Winfree, Brianna Harris (Mark) and Sarah Smyth; and his siblings, Richard Smyth (Sylvia), Patricia Price (Carl) and Saundra Boyd. He was also cherished by 11 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Haddonfield UMC 29 Warwick Road Haddonfield NJ 08033 to benefit the missions of the church.

“Barbara & Children My condolences to you and your Family. I will always remember Bob & your Dad as a very compassionate man. My fondest memory of him was when he went to bat for my husband Bob & Zi when we trying to adopt a second Child but was turned down because we already had a child & there were many other couples that did not. But I remember his compassion for us when the agency made their final decision. But You were still at St Paul’s when we adopted our daughter Kendra 10 years later.”
