He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Miller and Sara Mae Miller; and his brothers, Leonard and Donald. He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peggy" Louise Miller; and his children, Richard Leon Miller Jr., Karen McIntosh, Kathleen Bensel (Ralph), Linda Miller and Lisa Bensel (Richard).
