He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Mae and Willie Grady McLemore; his significant other Mary McLemore; and his sons, David McLemore and Moses Simmons.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Tanner; his children, Linda Brooks, Russell McLemore (Deborah), Margaret Smith (Luis Manzano, Jr.), Kathryn Bosman and Constance Austin-Heredia (Arnaldo); his grandchildren, Akita Brooks-Bland, Aisha Beauford (Michael), Charles Brooks III (Sinh), Todd McLemore, Nikki McLemore, Jonathan McLemore, Caitlin McLemore, Tyler McLemore, Brittani McLemore, Erik-Jay Bosman (Sabrina), Alex Patterson, Jr. (Alex Patterson, Sr.) and Joshua Austin Heredia; and his children, Brenda Cusack and Pedro Rivera.
Viewing was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of the Good Shepherd (110 Buckingham Dr, Willingboro, NJ 08046). A burial was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 12:45 PM at the Arlington Park Cemetery (1620 Cove Rd, Pennsauken Township, NJ 08110).
