He was predeceased by: his wife Alva Jean; and his parent Asa Jenkins, Sr.. He is survived by: his parent Alma Keturah Jenkins; his siblings, Asa Jenkins, Jr., Herbert Jenkins, Major Alvin Jenkins, Lawrence Jenkins, Gladys Small, Josephine Green, Exie Green, Ethel Wheeler, Juanita Gainer, Eliza Russ and Elizabeth Hadley; his children, Sandra J. Jenkins and Carter B. Jenkins, Sr.; his grandchild Tiffany Gaines-Ekwueme; his husband Christopher Ekwueme; his great grandchildren, Xavier and Chance Thomas; and his son-in-law Joseph B. Gaines.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Church of The Good Shepherd United Methodist Church in memory of "Mr. Frank".
