She was predeceased by: her parents, Rockwell Maxwell and Essie Lee Maxwell; and her siblings, Bennie Goodman, Jeannette Murray, Franklin D. Nelson, David Tyrone Nelson and Rockwell Maxwell, Jr..
She is survived by: her sisters, Joan Maxwell, Carolyn Maxwell and Velma Renna Richardson; her brother-in-law Ralph (Audrey R. Maxwell); and her nephews, Eric Maxwell, Brendan Maxwell and Maurice Maxwell. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
