He was predeceased by: his siblings, Peter Matese, Jr. (Anna), Vincent "Jimmy" Matese (late Marie), Antoinette "Minnie" DeLea (late Michael), Rose Mancini (late John), Mary "Babe" Giannascoli (late Richard) and Anna Low (late George).
He is survived by: his wife Pauline M. Matese; his friend Williamstown; his children, Angelina Matese (Leslie Tweg), Dr. Thomas Matese, Jr. (Anne) and Pauline Lyons; his grandchildren, Captain Mary Elizabeth (U. S. Army), Lieutenant Christina Pauline (U. S. Army), Cadet Andrew Delaney (U. S. Army), Morgan Anne, Austin Thomas and Noelle; and his sister Angela Regalbuto (John).
