He was predeceased by: his wife Elsie M. Prus; and his siblings, Peter Prus, Stella Jann, Theresa Romanowski, Lillian Carter, Leon Prus, Sylvia Woods, Pauline Pikunse, Stanley Prus, Julian Prus, Andrew Prus, Earl "Jimmy" Prus and Midgie Kennish.
He is survived by: his grandson Joey; his children, Elsie Cline (John), Nelson W. "Jake" Prus, Jr. (Lisa) and Judy Giannini Loving (Joe); and his grandchildren, Nelson W. "Jake" Prus, III, Jennifer Marie Cline, Nathan Wyatt Prus, Julie Lynn Giannini and Joseph Anthony Giannini, III. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
