He was predeceased by: his former wife Janice A. Lathrop; and his parents, Howard Lathrop, Sr. and Alma Denelsbeck. He is survived by: his wife Doris J. Firth; his sons, Steven Lathrop (Cheri) and Richard Lathrop (Lauren); his grandchildren, Benjamin Jennings Lathrop, Johnathan Lathrop and Thomas Lathrop; his great grandchild Noah Lathrop; and his sister Emma Lloyd (late William).
