He is survived by: his sisters, Ruth Farms (Alan), Rita Batten, Lois Benton and Sandra Hartzell; his brother-in-law Jack Donnelly; his wife Edith M. Dunning; his children, Gregory Dunning, Michael Dunning and Debra Bautista; his children-in-law, Kelly, Emily and Alan; and his grandchildren, Sophia Dunning, Darren Dunning, Donovan Dunning, Jolene Dunning, Isabelle Bautista, Addison Bautista and Harper Bautista. He is also survived by his family, teaching his children sports, attending his grandkids.

Viewing was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's R. C. Church (32 Carroll Ave, Williamstown, NJ 08094). The military honors was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery (240 N Tuckahoe Rd, Williamstown, NJ 08094).
