He was predeceased by: his parents, Morton Horovitz and Eleanor Horovitz; his brothers, Philip Horovitz and Robert Horovitz; and his sister-in-law Dolores Ciurlej.
He is survived by: his sister Betty Sanders; his significant other Camille; his son Richard; his pets, Chang, Nina, Lola and Greta; his siblings-in-law, Henry Ciurlej (Karen) and Linda Heriegel (Herbert); and his nieces and nephews, Lisa Glass (Daryl), Lauren Ciurlej, Nathan Horovitz, Justin Horovitz, Adam Horovitz and Harry.
