We are sad to announce that on November 26, 2024, at the age of 86, Adelaide Scott of Williamstown, New Jersey, born in Newark, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Leroy Haynes Hall, Sr.; her husband Paul L. Scott Sr.; her daughter Shelley Scott Parham; her mother Anna G. Hall; and her siblings, Dorothy Leigh and Leroy H. Hall Jr. Adelaide.
She is survived by: her children, Dorothy, Paul Scott, Jr. (Michele) of Atlanta, Jeffrey Scott of Williamstown, NJ and Adelaide Thompson (Kelvin) of Somerset, NJ; her grandchildren, Shelice, Jamar, Janeeka, Quinton, Chanel, Briana, Danielle, Brianne, Jarred, Stephen, Jonathan and Aaron; her great grandchildren, Paul, Loron, Devont'e, Naomi, Carter, Yara and Chloe; her sister Marian McDuffie; and also Meryl of East Orange, NJ. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the South Plainfield Funeral Home (2456 Plainfield Ave, South Plainfield, NJ 07080). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
