It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vayia Karavangelas (Wildwood, New Jersey), who passed away on March 27, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Vayia Karavangelas to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Zervas and Marianthi Zervas; her husband Asterios "Steve" Karavangelas; her sister Eleni; and her siblings-in-law, Theano, Harry, Marko and Gregory.
She is survived by: her children, Ellen (Ted), Maria (Steve) and George (Carol); her grandchildren, Vayia, Georgia, Kryssa and Joanna; her siblings, George and Eugenia (Markos); and her siblings-in-law, Anastasia, Anna, Sophia, Kleanthi and Theodore. She is also survived by many relatives and friends.
The church will follow NJ State mandated Covid protocol including masks and social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St Demetrios Church.
