With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Tom Sawyer Jr. (Wildwood, New Jersey), who passed away on August 12, 2021 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelbert L. Sr. Sawyer and Marcella Sawyer. He is survived by: his wife Barbara "Bobbie"; his children, James (Mary) and Jennifer; his grandchildren, Suzanne, Rachel, James, Sienna and Lilah; his great grandchild Lacey; and his friends, Norm and George.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Tom's name to The Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (http://www.whoi.edu) or The American Littoral Society (littoralsociety.org) or The Cape May Fisherman's Memorial.
