He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew and Helen; and his siblings, Jane, Bernard and Robert.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Gliwa; his children, Leonard (Caroline), Gary (Margaret), Gregory, John, Mary Thresa Florio (Remo), Reginia Sweeney (Michael) and Helene Cooper; his grandchildren, Danielle, Sean, Kaitlyn, Christy, Carrie Ann, Lenny, Brigid and Gabrielle; his great grandchildren, Sophia and Jackson; and his siblings, Mildred Sarzynski, Mae McGovern, Elizabeth McNeill, Antoinette Magda, Helen Alegado, Theresa Decave, Patricia Gliwa, Caroline Gliwa, Christine Gliwa, Joseph and John Gliwa.
