He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Matthews and Ann Beasley Matthews; his siblings, Judy and Ray; his cousins, Mariam, Barry and Tommy; his children, Jennifer Matthews Prebola (Kristopher), Kevin Matthews (June), Steven Matthews (Pearl) and Stefanie Matthews Conway (Jeff); his wife Mary-Paula; and his grandchildren, Andrew, Kevin, Ava, Shawn, Nicholas, Braden, Steven, Sienna, Gia and Sonny. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
