He was predeceased by: his parent Oreste; and his brother Rocco Giuseppe Giammichele of Paterson, NJ. He is survived by: his wife Vanda Giammichele (Dogliola); his children, Rusty Giammichele of Hawthorne, NJ, Teresa Giammichele (Frank Cuffe) of Long Branch, NJ and Maria Zeug (Glenn); his granddaughter Julia of Ramsey, NJ; his son Mario Giammichele of Hawthorne, NJ; and his brother Peter Giammichele (Concetta) of Bologna. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Mario's name to Healthy Lives Program, Attention: Denise Yaman Monmouth Medical Center, 300 Second Avenue, Long Branch, NJ 07740.
