He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Scheuer and Mae Scheuer; his sister Anne Scheuer; and his daughter Colleen Scheuer. He is survived by: his wife Joan M. Scheuer (Boyles); and his children, Joe Scheuer, Diane Boughton (Jerry), Teresa Roberts (Dennis), John Scheuer (Rebecca), Mark Scheuer (Jennifer), Matthew Scheuer, Janet Savell (Paul) and Maura Mulhern (Tom). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, family requests memorials in his name to the Holy Redeemer Hospice, 1801 Rt.#9 North, Swainton, N.J. 08210.
