Rita M. Garry Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita M. Garry of Whiting, New Jersey, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 16, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Mahoney and Jennie Conk Mahoney; her husband Steve J. Garry, Sr.; and her siblings, William "Buddy" Mahoney, Barbara and Jerald.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Garry, Patti Fritz (Jim), Marianne Staszkiw, Steve J. Garry Jr. and Chris Zabler; her grandchildren, Nicholas Fritz (Mary), Daniel Fritz, Janelle "Jane" (Dustin Bauknight), Andrew Staszkiw, Alyssa Hamilton and Jennifer McGuire Ireland (Kelly); and her great grandchildren, Rita, Phoebe Fritz, Everett, Laurel, Alden Bauknight, Greydon and Emily Ireland.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent in Rita's memory to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
