He was predeceased by: his parents, Angelo Tomasello and Kathryn Tomasello (Borowsky); his sons, Christopher Rodriguez and Michael Tomasello Jr.; and his great grandchild Aubree.

He is survived by: his wife Donna Tomasello (Sodon); his children, Jeffrey Tomasello of Robinsville, Paula Knudsen (Adam) of Millstone and Corinne Rodriguez (Alex Thomas) of Whiting; his siblings, Maryann Zimmerman (Arnold) of Wayside, Anthony Tomasello (Michele) of Wall, Diane Scalzo (Chet) of Matawan and John Tomasello (Fran) of Marlboro; and his family Michael.
