It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael J. Cammarano of Whiting, New Jersey, born in Staten Island, New York, who passed away on January 7, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Amie Cammarano; his sister Peggy Philips; and his parents, Frank Cammarano and Margaret Cammarano. He is survived by: his wife Marie; his son Michael J. Cammarano; his grandson Michael J. Cammarano III; his siblings, Theresa, Frank (Debbie), John, Joe, Leon (Dawn), Peter (Diane) and Maryanne (Dwayne); and his brother-in-law Pete Phillips. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
True to Mike's always good-hearted nature, the family asks that in lieu of flowers friends and relatives who wish to pay tribute to him do so by enjoying life a bit more than usual and to think fondly of him whenever you are having a fun family gathering, attending a concert, sitting on the beach, enjoying a round of golf, or going on a wild amusement ride.
