He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Deckman and Jane Deckman; his sister Rebecca Lynn; and his grandson Andrew Taylor. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Juliane Joyner (Bill), Matthew Jr. (Tasha Dunda), Ryan and Antonio Cruz; his siblings, Skip, Mark, Jeffrey and Beth; his grandchildren, Jasmine, Raesean, Raekwon, Eliot and Andie; and his great grandchildren, Amari, Jordynn, Jaelynn, Jocelynn and Jaxson.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Christ Evangelical Church (300 Schoolhouse Rd, Manchester Township, NJ 08759).
