Marjorie M. Mooney Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marjorie M. Mooney of Whiting, New Jersey, born in Inwood, New York, who passed away on March 2, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John J. McLaughlin and Marjorie McLaughlin (Collins); her brothers, Jackie and Bobby; her husband Jack (John Joseph Mooney); her son Kevin; her grandson Danny; and her sisters-in-law, Ann McLaughlin, Irene McLaughlin, Peggy (Fred Canavan) and Florence Mooney (Tom Lane).

She is survived by: her children, Gregory (Anne Marie) of Covington, VA, Sheila (Donald) of Lewes, DE, Danny (Maura) of New York, NY and Deirdre (Johnny) of New City, NY.; her grandchildren, Liam (Stephanie), Dennis (Bobbie), Katie, Nic, Michael (Damaris), Stephen (Ali), Maggie, Patty (Jamel), Kevin (Katelyn), Noni, Johnny, Conor (Beth), Brendan, Patrick (Rachel) and Sheila; her great grandchildren, Elias, Charlie, Lex, Willa, Calla, Michael, Fiona, Will, Lucy, Arianna, Donovan, Kiernan, Tristan, Brielle, Jack and Emmett; and her sister-in-law Pat Lane. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, her godchildren.

For those who wish to make memorial donations, the Family suggests that consideration be given to Good Shepherd School or the Dominican Sisters of Sparkill.
