It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louis J Laplaga Sr. of Whiting, New Jersey, who passed away on July 5, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his sons, Louis LaPlaga, Jr. and Anthony LaPlaga. He is survived by: his wife Barbara LaPlaga; his children, Kathleen Spangler (Robert), Michael LaPlaga (Tammy), Karen Reisinger (Joseph) and Kevin LaPlaga (Michelle); and his stepchildren, Georganne Benanti (Dominick) and Barbara Ann Pitcher (Joe). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Knights of Columbus.
