Lesia Chanley Obituary

With solemn reverence, we commemorate Lesia Chanley of Whiting, New Jersey, whose life came to an end on January 7, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Smook and Mary Rohowsky; and her sister Dorothy Rygiel. She is survived by: her family, NJ and Lesia; her husband Benjamin J. Chanley, Jr.; her children, Benjamin E. Chanley, Marciann Fallon-Sinwich (Patrick), Kenneth Chanley (Chari) and Cindy Siebern (Richard); her grandchildren, Sean, Erik, Nicole, Jennifer, Matthew, Jordyne, Joshua and Daniel; and her brother Peter Smook (Joan).

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Old Bridge Funeral Home (2350 County Rd 516, Old Bridge, NJ 08857). A procession was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Holy Cross Burial Park (840 Cranbury Rd, East Brunswick, NJ 08831).
