She is survived by: her brother William Wentzien of Burlington, NJ; her children, Mark Hayward (Susan) of Hamilton, NJ and Virginia Sobas (Robert) of East Branch, NY; her grandchildren, Mark Hayward II (Jamie), Kristin Hayward, Jennifer Sands (Roy) and Rebecca Sobas; and her great grandchildren, Vera and Korah Sands.

At the request of the family, memorial contributions (in lieu of flowers) can be made in Karlyn's name to: Whiting United Methodist Church, 55 Lacey Road, Whiting, NJ, 08759.
