He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Planz; his children, Theresa Planz-Menneci, Scott Planz and Wayne Planz; his grandchildren, Nick, Brian, Penelope, Vincent and Jennee; his sister Barbara Roche; and his nephew David Roche.
