He was predeceased by: his parents, Maynard McLaughlin and Emily McLaughlin; and his brother Maynard McLaughlin (Slim). He is survived by: his wife Edith McLaughlin; his sons, George McLaughlin, Jr. (Jerreth) of Tahlequah, Tim McLaughlin (Judy) of Colorado Springs and Peter McLaughlin (Susan) of Howell; his grandchildren, Benjamin, Jason, Emily, Todd, Kelita and Luke; and his great grandchild Rowyn.
