He was predeceased by: his parents, Meta Heide and William Zur Heide; his sister Lois Dietrich; and his grandson Matthew Henkel. He is survived by: his wife Margaret ZurHeide; his daughters, Kathryn (James Morbit), Mary Ellen (Martin Craig) and Helene (Henry Henkel); his grandchildren, Tara (Walter Cross), George (Cheryl Sirois), John and Kate Henkel; and his great grandchildren, Anne-Marie, Jordan Cross, Annabelle Henkel and Scarlett Sirois. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Secaucus Fire Department – Engine Company #1, 150 Plaza Center, Secaucus, NJ 07094 or to a charity of your choice.
