He is survived by: his children, Peter Escalante and Jennifer; his son-in-law Mark Paulino; his stepchildren, Joey Yannelli, Dawn Yannelli, Terri Yannelli and Stephanie Chu; his siblings, Gino, Leonardo (Cynthia), Tovar (Mica Escalante) and Dafne; his brother-in-law Charles Cimino; and his grandchildren, Skyler and Liam Paulino.
