He was predeceased by: his parents, Christopher O'Brien and Elizabeth O'Brien (Barkey); his wife Eileen O'Brien (Veith); and his siblings, Richard O'Brien and Anna O'Brien MacDonald.
He is survived by: his children, Diane Rabuffo (Richard) of Lincroft, Colleen Evans (Robert) of Hazlet and Christopher D. O'Brien III (Louise Opepe); his grandchildren, Nicole, Laura Rabuffo, Alycia Opepe-O'Brien, Kayla, Grace Evans, Mitterand and Risq Okemba; his great grandchildren, Lleionna and Lorenzo Okemba; and his siblings, John O'Brien of Queens, NY and Jean O'Brien Reynolds of Keansburg. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Deborah Heart and Lung Center, Browns Mills, or to the Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish Food Pantry.
