She was predeceased by: her parents, George Carroll and Helen Carroll; her husband Calvin Hartz; her daughter Jeanne Goddard (Jeff); and her siblings, John Carroll and Isabel Case.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Cherry (Kurt) and Ken Hartz; her grandchildren, Laura Reyes (Marcos), Jeremy Goddard, Jacob Cherry (Corrine), Bradley Cherry, Alex Hartz, Gabrielle Foerter (Jacob) and Emmeline Pedersen (Drew); her great grandchildren, Elena, Gian Marco, Tulio, Evan, Riley, Levi, Collin, Mason, Leo, Cameron and Hayden; and her sisters, Harriet Geren, Betty Lou Francis and Mary Wood. She is also survived by grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bess's memory may be made to Fellowship CrossPoint Church Building Fund.
