It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Achille Onnembo of Whiting, New Jersey, born in Kearny, New Jersey, who passed away on September 25, 2023, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Edith Adele (Baker) of Paul's Lounge; his daughter Cynthia Onnembo (Cindy); his parents, Anna Onnembo (Torre) and George Onnembo; and his siblings, Dr. John Onnembo, Nicholas Onnembo, Bernie Kane and Rachel Kopecke.
He is survived by: his son George; his siblings-in-law, Jay Kopecke, Corinne Tonne Ufer and Louise Onnembo; his nephew David Tonne; his sister-in-law Arlene Onnembo of Montville, NJ; his nieces and nephews, Coreen (Clifford DiLea), Caryl Mearsheimer of Melbourne Shores, Fla, Caryn Jeanne (Steve Sorrento) and George Onnembo (Kristine); his grandchildren, Tara, Tommy, Christopher Mearsheimer, Suzanne, Steven Sorrento, Nick and Lauren Onnembo; his nieces and nephews, Edith Tonne-Walsh, Karen Sullivan, Diane Barone, Suzanne Olimpio, Dr. Sharyn Onnembo, Lynda Marconi, Vivian Onnembo, Bonnie Onnembo, Royale, Jasa, Gina Barone, Bobby Tonne, John Onnembo, Jim Onembo, John Sullivan, Dan, Tom, Ken Baron, Alex Olimpio and Dominic Onnembo; and also, Jerry, Linda Sollers, Bill, Anita Dutton and Krystyna Maserati.
