He was predeceased by: his parents, Jules Spanner and June Spanner; his brother Greg; and his brother-in-law Hayes MacArthur. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Ami Payne (Bill) of Marlton, NJ and Mark (Kerry) of Hampton; his grandchildren, Ashlyn, Amanda Payne and Autum Spanner; his sister Kathy Griffith (Craig); his siblings-in-law, Ruth MacArthur, Ann Spanner and Craig MacArthur (Judy); his uncle Eual Pennington; and his cousin Kenji Bleicker (Julie). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews as well as countless friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home (103 Old Hwy 28, Whitehouse Station, NJ 08888). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
