With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John McDermott of Whitehouse Station, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 4, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James and Carolyn McDermott; and his siblings-in-law, Dennis Florance and Nancy Cassidy. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Cassidy McDermott; his sons, Colin McDermott (Madison) of North Caldwell, NJ and Daniel McDermott (Rachel) of North Wales, PA; his granddaughter Morgan Wallace McDermott of North Caldwell, NJ; his siblings, Karen Florance, James McDermott (Pat), Kevin McDermott (Barbara) and George McDermott (Hanyel); and his sister-in-law Cathy Ballin (Randy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Parow Funeral Home (185 Ridge Rd, North Arlington, NJ, USA 07031).
