With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eugene Y Njai of Whitehouse Station, New Jersey, who passed away on July 3, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Ngai and Hung Tai Ngai; his wife Peggy; and his daughters, Courtney and Janine.
He enjoyed giving to others, and many backyards now have a birdhouse he made during COVID.
Eugene has been recognized worldwide for his contributions to safe procedures for working with hazardous gases, and received awards from the Compressed Gas Association, the American Chemical Society, and the New York Fire Department.
