He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Peter Elfers and Helen Elfers; his sister Alice Beirne; his wife Isabelle Elfers; his sons, John (Laurie Suomala) and Charles (Dinah); his grandsons, Geoffrey Elfers, Travis Elfers (Elizabeth Lovelady) and Stephen Elfers (Kristen); his children, Isabelle, Stephen and Nikitta; his nieces and nephews, Thomas Beirne (Kathy) and Carol Gratacos (Bill); and his caregiver Sonya Douglas.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church of Whippany (494 NJ-10, Whippany, NJ 07981).
Memorial Gifts: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Whippany or Hanover Wind Symphony.
