In the vast expanse of eternity, Delores shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Delores farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Duane D. Houck and Gladys Pfitzemmeyer; and her sister Diane Rhode. She is survived by: her husband Peter J. Mertz; her children, Stephanie A. Mertz and Stephen J. Mertz; her granddaughters, Whitney A. Ball and Kyliegh R. Kusek; and her brother Dwight D. Houck.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bermingham Funeral Home (216 S Main St, Wharton, NJ 07885). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 5:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Honey Brook United Methodist Cemetery (360 James St, Honey Brook, PA 19344).
