She was predeceased by: her parents, Alec Frances and Mary Frances; her daughter Suzanne; her siblings, Roy and Iris Daniel; and her husband James F. Roberson.
She is survived by: her children, James Franklin Roberson Jr. (Shirley), Lelia Martina Polen, Henrietta Polen Westwood (Benjamin) and Stephan Mallory Roberson (Gail); her grandchildren, David Beasley Jr., Lelia Delores Wiley, James Roberson 3rd, Jennifer Jane Polen, Benjamin Polen Jr. (Yunmi), Jonathan Polen, Stephen Polen, Aisha Polen, Justine Cruise-Roberson and Camille Cruise-Roberson; her great grandchildren, Noah, Jacqueline, Whitney, Vincent Wiley, Sariyah Polen and Nichole Scott; and her nieces and nephews, Jihad Daniel, Barbara Roberson Gardner, Carol Daniel and Gloria Campbell.
