She was predeceased by: her parents, Baldo Dobroslavich and Bertha Dobroslavich (late Edward J. Whalen, Sr); her siblings, Gregory, Nicholas, William, Charles Dobroslavich, Clara Archibald, Frances Keil and Grace Dobroslavich; her daughter Susan Whalen; and her grandson Matthew Whalen.
She is survived by: her sister Alice Grant; her children, Joseph Whalen (Cheryl), Edward Jr. Whalen (Michele), Kathleen Whalen (Peter), Patricia DiTocco (Robert), David Whalen (Karin) and Brian Whalen; her grandchildren, Christopher Whalen, Marc Giannotti, Heather Smith, Andrew Giannotti, Theresa DiTocco, David Whalen, Evan Whalen, Nicole Whalen, Alicia Farfalla, KeeAuna Whalen, Tatiana Whalen, Wolfgang Whalen, Spencer Whalen, Katie Whalen and Conner Whalen; and her husband Edward Whalen. She is also survived by 22 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
