She is survived by: her children, Michael Carty and Carolyn Sapontzis; her children-in-law, Liz Carty and Tom Sapontzis; her grandchildren, Jack, Michael, Niamh Carty, Gavin and Kyra Sapontzis; her sister Teresa O'Keeffe; the father of her children Mike Carty; and her brother-in-law Johnny Donaghey. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
