He was predeceased by: his wife Faye; and his sister Anne Penny. He is survived by: his children, Eileen Schillinger (Ray), Kathleen Wurster and John Ahern (JoAnn); his grandchildren, Cameron, Alec Schillinger, Morgan, Grant Wurster, Alison and Bridget Ahern; and his siblings, Margaret Ahern, Michael Ahern, Kathy Ahern-Haynes (Ken) and Helen Ahern-Gamble.
